Anna Bligh secretly took U.S. $ 100 million of his praise from a clean coal to finance new solar boost, while publicly claiming that it was still committed to clean up the country's coal industry.


Sunday Mail learned recently redirected the third Premier of Queensland distribution of clean coal fund future growth and development of two new scale commercial projects in solar energy.


Transfer, a marked shift in energy of the Labor Party, came a week after revelations the Government would stay away from state-owned coal company ZeroGen clean the plant and scrap its planned $ 4,300,000,000 power and central Queensland.

Last month the federal government report found that solar power was much more expensive to produce than other options such as carbon capture and storage - which Ms Bligh claimed to be too expensive to continue to plant ZeroGen.



Policy shift came despite former Prime Minister Peter Beattie described the clean coal fund as "one of the largest and most important investment in future state" in 2007.

In a statement yesterday, confirmed Ms Bligh diverted to fund clean coal projects sun flag, saying it would help to develop two new solar plants to power over 50,000 homes.

Opposition John Paul Langbroek leader described the change as if, given the importance of the coal industry.
