Libyan security forces ,Besieged Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi has appeared increasingly cornered Sunday when security forces defected to the opposition in a city near the capital and the Security Council voted in favor of severe restrictions on war crimes charges against the Libyan regime .

Nic Robertson, CNN, on a trip organized by the Government of Zawiya, saw armed civilians to take up defensive positions on rooftops in the preparation of an effort by Gaddafi loyalists to retake the city.
About 2,000 people attended an anti-government protests there, some standing on top of tanks or anti-aircraft guns. They said the government wanted was ousted, with Gaddafi "leech."
