Jayme Biendl, 34, was found Saturday night after workers at Monroe Correctional Complex noticed his keys and radio were missing, according to a statement from the Washington State Department of Corrections. The prison staff immediately went to where she worked and found his disdain, he said.
Biendl rescue personnel reported dead at the scene shortly before 11 pm PT, Department said.
She had been strangled, according to Chad Lewis, a department spokesman.
Also on Saturday evening, was a resident jail for missing a number of routine, the department said. He was found in the lobby of the chapel and told the officers that he planned to escape, but he changed his mind.
