Explosion, which killed at least 31 people Monday in the busiest airport in Moscow seems to be an act of terrorism, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on state television.

Medvedev has ordered increased security at other airports in Moscow and at the center of Moscow's traffic police, went on high alert in case of more bombs.


The explosion occurred around 4:30 pm at the entrance to the international arrivals section Domodedovo airport, Itar-Tass, quoting a spokesman of the Research Committee of Russia, Tatiana Morozova.

State television aired the video terminal smoked, including what appeared to be bodies and luggage on the ground.
