The man who shot at officers in a police station in Detroit has a parent who is scheduled to be sentenced for double murder on Monday, said the head of city police, who declined to confirm that the motive for the attack.

"We can not speculate on the motive," said Chief Ralph Godbee in a press conference on Monday. "There is nothing in it that makes sense."


Deshea Lamar Moore, 38, a pedestrian walked into police on Sunday, "began shooting indiscriminately," Godbee said. He shot and killed by gunfire in return the police chief.
