How does HP see close Veer? Cute as a button, and small - these pictures do no justice at all. We just got our hands on the painting webOS 2.2 smartphone, and put an end to a pile of photos for your viewing pleasure. You will not be able to return these around like playing cards, but will give you an idea of what to expect from the thumbnail 2 Pre in the weeks and months ahead, so click through the gallery below. We'll have a video in an instant, too!
Update: We're back for seconds and came away impressed by the ability of filling the small machine - its form factor may bring back painful memories of Kin One but Veer feels like a beast multitasking. Before our eyes, a fire crept HP rep fast enough when applications for planning and communicating a date Yelp restaurant in less than a minute flat, and there was not even a minute late when you switch between each. We're big fans of the form factor, small screen to the other, sliding hinge is solid with a wink nice and cute little keyboard attached to the cursor is very useful, despite its size, with small rubber buttons we recalled them on the Palm Centro. What's not to love?
Update 2: Video after the break!
Update 3: Although we could not determine with certainty what the demo units Veer has been using an IMEI number was clearly in the information display device, which leads to the conclusion that these are GSM phones (probably AT & T).
