A floating body was found on Saturday that authorities believe was the man who abducted 4 year old son, his ex-girlfriend and drove into a canal.
An employee of the California Water Authority, saw the body, believed to be that of Jose Esteban Rodriguez, around 8:30 on Saturday. It was discovered in a part of the 117-mile Delta-Mendota Canal in the northern California town of Patterson, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Department Stanislaus County.
The employee alerted detectives Stanislaus County sheriff who went to the scene with members of the diving team of the department, and West Stanislaus Patterson Fire Department.
Authorities determined the body was that of an adult Hispanic male physical makeup and clothing that is responsible for Rodriguez. The authorities are now using scientific measures, such as DNA testing and dental records, and to examine other evidence in the definition of life.
Discovery is 11 days after authorities discovered the body of the young Juliani Cardenas, the son of alleged weapons of Rodriguez's grandmother Views, Jan. 18.
January 19, a farmer saw a car that apparently Rodríguez 2003 Toyota Corrolla money - apparently with the man inside and the young - to dive into the canal.
