Do you want to make Recipe Perfect Corned Beef and Cabbage.Usually salted beef brisket wrapped in a kind of suspended in brine and can bring a little spice stripping already. You want to make sure you rinse the breast, remove the thick brine. Pat very dry. You can use the spices small pickling spice in the pack, but I prefer to use my own spices. Ingredients:

For the corned beef

2 bottles of Guinness beer (or other dark beer)

2 tablespoons brown sugar

3 1 / 2 pounds uncooked breast of corned beef, rinsed and drained well

1 tablespoon pickling spice

1 / 2 onion

1 head garlic, halved

For vegetables

1 head cabbage

1 tablespoon butter or bacon fat (you can just substitute with cooking oil)

some carrots, cut into 3/4-inch pieces

1 pound red potatoes, cut into 3/4-inch pieces

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

directions:

1. Preheat oven to 300F. In a large pot, mix together the beer and sugar cane. Cuddles is a breast, would almost completely cover the beer (see photo). Add pickling spices, onion and garlic. Extending the hob covers the best so you can keep an eye on it. Beer-Boiled time is not fun to clean.

2. When it begins to simmer, cover the pan and place in oven to cook for 4-6 hours, turning the meat once the center. Remove from oven. Spoon out 2 cups corned beef braised liquid to cook the cabbage.

3. For the vegetables, cut the cabbage, 8 slices. In another large pot and heat the lard / bacon drippings / oil medium-high heat. When hot, swirl the pan around to evenly coat of grease pan. Add cabbage wedges, carrots and potatoes and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Turn to brown other side. Pour the reserved cooking liquid corned beef, bring to a boil and cover the pot. Turn heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes. use tongs or a large spoon gently cabbage and reserve. Continue cooking the carrots and potatoes for 5 minutes, or even boiled (Pierce with a fork to check the rate of maturity). Sprinkle with parsley and flat out of the cabbage.

4. Cut corned beef and cabbage and serve with vegetables. Pour a little sauce over the corned beef just before serving.
