Head of Sports and Youth DKI Jakarta, Ratiyono, said the event the SEA Games will be held in two cities ie Jakarta and Palembang, South Sumatra, on 11 to 23 November 2011.
"The opening and closing will be conducted in Palembang. But most of the match will be held in Jakarta," said Ratiyono, Head of Sports and Youth DKI Jakarta, Friday (19/11/2010).
The number of sports that will be contested in Jakarta as many as 21 sports. Among these are, badminton will be held at Istora, football at the Bung Karno Main Stadium, futsal in Building POPKI Cibubur, Karate at the Bung Karno Indoor Tennis, basketball in GOR Basketball Sport Mall Kelapa Gading, tennis table in the Student Center Soemantri Brojonegoro , bicycle racing in Veledrom Rawamangun, Bowling at the Jaya Ancol Bowling field, Pencak Silat Pencak Silat in Padepokan TMII, Kempo in GOR Ciracas and a number of other sports.
