A few days after his remarkable "burning platform" revealed memo, word has it that the new CEO of Nokia to put the ball in the air to change the game shows deal with either Google or Microsoft, and it seems that Microsoft may end up getting the nod of head.

All Things Digital, Bloomberg News and The Wall Street Journal reported that the head of Nokia, and former Microsoft executive, Stephen Elop has "had discussions" with both Steve Ballmer and Microsoft and Google CEO Eric Schmidt on adoption Windows or mobile phone platform Android for new Nokia phones.

Elop is expected to make his intentions at the meeting of investors on Friday, and both Bloomberg and All Things Digital Phone require Microsoft Windows OS, Nokia's business.

The news comes just two days after Engadget posted a note allegedly written by extraordinary inner Elop himself that compares the Nokia remains dominant, but it is still uncertain status of being on market access in the "burning platform" and faced a difficult choice: to remain in place and "inevitably consumes the flames burning" or "dive to 30 meters in freezing water."

Where there was confusion as to the analogy, then Elop in detail how Apple "market disruption" to the iPhone while Android has managed to move to bring in shipments of Nokia smartphones only two years.

Nokia, on the other side "had a series of gaps, with his platform promised upscale MeeGo languished in development and have great Symbian OS" proved to be competitive in key markets like America North, "wrote ELOP. "How did we get to this point and why we are lagging behind while the world around us changed?"
